Quota windows follow your signup date

Allowances reset on your subscription anniversary, not the calendar month. Annual billing keeps the same monthly pool resets as monthly billing.

Upgrades apply immediately

Is Semfora Engine really free?

Yes! Semfora Engine is completely free to use. You can analyze unlimited codebases locally with no restrictions. Paid plans add cloud features like CI integration and enhanced CVE scanning.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards through our billing provider. Enterprise is invoice + ACH, never card.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll be prorated for the remainder of your billing period. When downgrading, your new plan takes effect at the next billing cycle.

What happens if I hit my usage limits?

New analysis runs pause until your cycle resets, and AI features switch off while the AI budget is spent. We never automatically charge overage fees. PR checks are never blocked by a quota. Org owners can add a mid-cycle AI boost or more seats at any time.

Do you offer discounts for open source projects?

Yes. Open source projects qualify for free Team-tier features. Contact us with your project details to apply.

Do I need a card to try Semfora?

No. The Free tier is a real plan, not a trial: connect a repo and use the dashboard, chat, and PR gate with no card on file. Upgrade when you need more compute or AI budget.
