About Semfora

Semfora measures what is actually happening to your codebase: structure, history, and risk, on every merge.

The story

Semfora was born from a simple observation: AI coding assistants are incredibly powerful, but they're often flying blind. They process code without truly understanding its structure, relationships, and semantic meaning. We set out to change that.

Semfora is the layer we built to fix that: a cloud platform that compiles every merge into a queryable map of your code's structure and history. Your dashboard, your AI chat, and your PR gate all read the same map.

The numbers are measured, not projected: across 1,773 real bug cases in 410 public repositories, fixes concentrated at 3.63 times the even-spread rate inside the smaller high-risk surface Semfora draws.

The company

Semfora, Inc.

Semfora, Inc. builds the analysis platform behind semfora.ai. The product is one thing done thoroughly: a structural map of your codebase, rebuilt on every merge, that feeds the dashboard engineering leaders read, the AI chat your team questions, and the PR gate your CI trusts. Claims are measured before they're published, answers are deterministic, and the data model cannot store your source.

Our values

Source-safe by design

Analysis runs in ephemeral containers and stores names and numbers only. There is no field in our data model that can carry your source code.

Deterministic by default

The same question about the same commit returns the same answer, with file and line attached. No vibes, no sampling.

Measured, not promised

Every number we publish comes from a reproducible benchmark on public repos. When a claim doesn't survive measurement, we delete it.
